Remember, Ghosts... we have a raid on almost every night of the week. however, Thursday is THE Raid. The Central outfit raid, the night of the week we spend the whole REST of the week preparing for. Please make an effort to be there.

Oh, and read my Goodwill story series in the War Stories section. OMG THE SHAMELESS PLUG... but I can make these news posts, and thats my privaledge. :D

GOTR continues to grow. If this is your first visit to the site, welcome! We are one of the most powerful and influential outfits in the Vanu sovereignty, and always working to improve upon what we have. Just because we're big doesn't mean there isn't a spot here for you to contribute!

GOTR School Daze is still in effect. If you think you're the best at what you do, hold a class and help other ghosts get good as well! It can be small as a one on one tutorship, or as large as an entire division. Its up to you!

Remember, our big raids are on Thursdays... the raid we spend ALL WEEK preparing for. This Thursday, there will be a very special announcement... something that doesn't happen very often around here. Make an effort to be there, so you don't miss it!

GOTR School Daze is now in effect! This is how it works:

Anyone can host a class. He/she can choose whatever time to hold a class and how many people can attend. The tutor makes a post about this in any forum they like... if it's a general skill, then it's in the Enlisted Ghost Mess Hall... if it's specific to a division, they can make the post in the appropriate divisional forum.

To attend the class, you MUST post interest in the thread. If you do not post, you do not attend... simple as that.

The intention of School Daze is to help our members who happen to be very skilled in one facet of Planetside or another, impart their talents and knowledge to less skilled players. Through this mentorship, GOTR itself will grow in overall skill and value.

So, are you a really good BFR assassin? An unbeatable rexotank? The greatest Mag or Thresher driver who ever lived? A *ahem* very talented sniper? Then host a class, and help GOTR become more of what it already is... the best VS outfit on the emerald server and, perhaps, the game.

Every day, we get new members to the GOTR, and its the responsibility and duty of every Ghost to do what they can to make sure that our new Ghosts feels at home.

If you see a ghost you've never seen before, please... strike up a conversation with themn. If they're not on TS, get them on TS, and introduce them to the way we do things around here.

Remember, at one time or another, every ghost here was new.

Guys, here's the skinny on why the site has been up and down these past few days.

My host (1&1 Internet) is getting DoS-ed. It's apparently pretty bad, too, seeing as they have oodles of server capacity and bandwidth. So, just hang tight and it should stop sooner or later.
