11th May MVP awards
Another raid has passed, and another round of MVPs were awarded:
Wind Wraiths - Lomshiveck. If you were at the raid, you surely noticed how effective our reavers were. The reason for this was simple - Lommy's ability to keep everyone together showed that even with lower numbers Spectre Wing can still be very deadly.
Phantom Guard - KRAB. A good ghost, a good mag driver and a good teammate - with players like him, it's no wonder that PG is the best armor unit in Planetside. 555th - BagYoFace. Time and again he has shown consistent and reliable leadership. This week was not an exception as he once again kept his squad together and showed the Roughnecks' true potential.
DL - MauditOstie. Another PEST member showed great potential and leadership abilities in time when those were most needed. For stepping up and leading PEST, Maudit gets this week's MVP.
Do you notice a pattern? That's right - to be considered for an MVP all you have to do is be a good ghost and teamplayer, and be ready to step up and help your commander whenever asked to. It's all up to you, the Ghosts. :)

PG Promotions
KRAB and Mustardman have been promoted to Shadow Sergeant. They have both shown great leadership during raids and have almost perfect raid attendance since December 2005.
PG command staff will now be molding these fine soldiers into PG officers. KRAB is taking on the role of Magrider commander and Mustardman is the new PG Staff officer.
Congratulations to you both!

Outstanding work GOTR.
Everyones performance during the raid was simply outstanding. We have 'theme nights' a few nights a week and the Fun Raid once a week, but the one night that really matters, the Big Show as it's been called, is Thursdays. Last night was a near perfect example of our Outfit Raid.
You, the enlisted men and women, showed up in force and kicked some serious ass. Arriving late to the fight on Searhus, we went base by base, securing what was under threat and then steamrolling the larger enemy force.
It may have seemed "lightweight" or "easy" at times, and that's because it was, but you have to think for a minute on WHY it was. The answer is simple. GOTR shines where few other outfits shine, and that is in our communications and cooperation. No other outfit of any empire, on any server, even comes close to the combination of strategy and diversity that we possess.
There are many larger outfits, with more active members, but none of them are as organized as we are. There are a few outfits that are more organized, but only because they are small, specialized, and micromanaged.
GOTR brings an absolutely unique blend of forces to the battlefield, a direct result of our outstanding divisional structure. Each division can hold its own against any similarly aligned outfit, enemy or friendly, and when all divisions are workingi together you get what you pay for -- effectively four small organized, specialized outfits working tightly together as one massive force.
We can't stop here.
We brought roughly 80 people to the fight, but I will not be totally satisfied until we can bring another 40. When GOTR rolls 120 people together as a unified force, we can go where we want, when we want, and absolutely nothing can stop us.
So lets step up the recruiting another notch. Introduce more people to the unstoppable force that is GOTR. Contact your friends already in the outfit that you haven't seen in a while, and fire them up with stories of just how much asskicking they are missing out on.
It's time to take it to the next level.

Raid starts forming up in FIFTEEN!
Fifteen minutes until raid formup! If you're just sitting around, screwing off, reading the forums and whatnot -- look at the clock. Time to go kick some red and blue ass.
For our visiting friends, you'll start to see a lot of people and vehicles near the HART B tower in the next 45 minutes. If you've always wondered just what the hell that is, now you know.
This is GOTR, and this is how we roll.
