For their great dedication to GotR, the following Ghosts were given the MVP award:

Wind Wraiths - Loawe. A great teamplayer, valuable scout and always read to fulfill any assignment his commanders have given him.

Phantom Guard - Mustardman. If you want to know what it takes to be the lead tank driver, look no further. He was dedicated, alert and always trying to keep the mags together.

555th - Motih. One of our newest members, yesterday was his first thursday raid. But he already showed up true potential, by stepping up and agreeing to fly the Roughneck's galaxy, greatly reducing their travel time.

DL - Yukanojo. With both PEST's commander and XO unavailable for the night, he stepped up and took command of the unit. Did you notice all those destroyed generators at different times during the raid? They were all the result of his knack for leadership and keeping the troops together.

I just wanted to say, excellent job on Ishundar yesterday, Ghosts. Days like that make me very proud to lead you into battle. We started a new fight like we always do, with some help from two other outfits.

The fight for the first base was intense once the enemy responded, and there were a few on CR5 command chat that doubted the continent was going anywhere. On the map it looks like a losing fight, but from the giving end of our weapons we knew exactly where we stood.

Once reenforcements arrived en-masse, we the continent locked (2nd poplock of the night!) and we took the route up north while the rest of the empire locked horns over an Interlink. Before the NC showed up and threw a monkey into our wrench, there was no doubt who was going to end up with the continent regardless of who started with it or the fact that the populations were evenly matched.

Those of you that missed it missed one of our shining moments, a raid for the books. Get off your duffs and show up next week and be a part of the unstoppable killing machine that is GOTR.

Well, this weeks' SFR is a special one to be sure. Once more, the "GotR's Rick James MAXperience" shall be brought to bear on our enemies. This is a proud tradition in GotR and was one of the initial starting points of the MAX Crash idea. The naming guidelines will be enforced, so please look through the forums on what to do before attending the raid.

Speaking of the raid, there is another moment to take pause for. Due to the Sunday holiday this weekend, it has been decided that the SFR will depart from it's normal date to happen this SATURDAY instead, although at it's normal time of 8pm EST. That's right ghosts and ghostettes, we have a large themed raid set for this Saturday and I hope as many as possible will show up. These events can easily draw a full platoon or more, so don't be late or you'll miss out on a historic occasion.

Attention ghosts,

don't forget about the upcoming GLS. For it to be a success, we need everyone to show up. Besides, what is more fun than the whole outfit being in the same base, working as the fine oiled machine it is.
