Tonight was a good night. Prior to the raid, I picked up four recruits; Three returning veterans, and one FNG. The raid went well, we held our own against many many completely failed gal drops on Hossin at Chac, and even took a second (and eventually a third) base.

I heard the galdroppers included sturmgrenadier, sometimes up to three gals at once, held off by the amazing Wind Wraiths, and my own little band of guys inside the tech plant -- myself and the above recruits.

Afterwards, yet another veteran returned and has been rejoined to the outfit.

So lets all give a hearty HUZZAH to Wind Wraiths for a job exceptionally well done last night, and a warm welcome back to LoCust, DaDubman, MadDevil, and hexabus!

A belated congratulations and announcement to the three newest Ghost Generals here in GOTR; Nalar-K, J0k3rCPG, and Biscuit2. All of them have proven themselves to be good commanders, exceptional Ghosts, and outstanding people.

Let's all wish them the best of luck in their new positions.

Here are the divisional MVP awards for the 08-Jul-2005 outfit raid, in the order they were given to me by the division commanders...

For the Phantom Guard, Bunbun gets the nod, for drawing on his experience as the former division commander and providing invaluable tactical and moral support. He proved again why he is considered "da man", and why PG is the most effective armor unit you'll find anywhere.

In the 555th, Undeath555 recieves the award, for being a selfless support junkie, who embodied the very spirit of what it means to be a infantryman in GOTR.

From the Wind Wraiths, Biscuit2 gets a hearty pat on the back. His leadership shined through to turn the undermanned Skull Squadron and Shadow Unit into a combined escort and scouting force, providing valuable intel and support to his fellow ghosts.

Also, from WW, Spectre Wing receives the divisional "unit MVP" award, for their tireless efforts to stick together and work as a a team, destroying multiple enemy galaxies, aiding courtyard suppression, and helping keep the picket line between Caer and Anu from moving even an inch closer to our position.

Great job guys, GREAT job. Keep up the good work, keep up the recruiting, and I'm sure only one thing will be better than our last raid.

First, a big pat on the back to all GOTR that turned out for the Outfit raid on July 7th. We rolled onto Forseral like a steamroller, and drove the pop from 70+ open VS spots, to about 15 open. With the pop influx of such a large, organzied group, the enemy didn't stand a chance.

By 11:30PM, we'd pushed back equal sized populations of NC and TR both, and at the end of the raid, the NC were pushed entirely off the continent, and the TR were pushed all the way to the last base before their sanc warpgate, a worthless Biolab.

That's how GOTR rolls kids, and you made me proud to be a member and your commander. Lets push for an even better turnout next week!

..not quite the same as the old boss, but close enough that the transition shouldn't give too many people ulcers.. My appreciation and thanks to Guru, he's been a great outfit leader for GOTR, stepping up in a time of dire need and keeping us from death.

The outfit is in much better shape than it was when he inherited it, and now it's up to me to continue down the road that's served us so well for so long. So, see ya in game, and here's a little bit of hard earned wisdom:

Try to keep yourselves on the LEFT side of the killspam, willya? ;)
